I just want to thank the Iboga folks for being so hip to the Beatport service. My music money goes way further when I can pick and choose which tracks to purchase and not have to pay any shipping costs. I do miss having those shiny packaged goodies on my shelf, though.

I 10000% agree, and to be able to get them as waves makes me extremely happy. I would be very very sad if Beatport ever went under, and labels like Iboga showing that it is the way to go just makes the site that muchbetter.

beatport is like 55% of the market share for dance music, its great to see iboga up the top all the time in the charts :)

I should have shiny packaged goodies on my shelf any day now.

Hey Iboga, do you tie a bunch of cinder blocks to your couriers? :)

Gotta say that's the only down-side to continuing to buy CDs and vinyl: the lack of instant gratification.

Here's a suggestion, in case anyone is paying attention: Make the contents of a CD (or vinyl release) downloadable as WAVs after a purchase is made on the ITC site. It wouldn't cost you anything but the little bit of extra bandwidth since you should already be in posession of the original files. Seems like the folks who are going out of their way (and out of their pocketbook) to continue supporting releases in these formats don't really see the support in return. If anything, continuing to support vinyl and CDs puts us a week (or more in my case) behind the curve of Beatport users.

    How about a little love?
