...and as if the coming release of ETC wasn't enough - coupled with the two remix compilations... There is now word that the long awaited full length of *Behind Blue Eyes* is nearing the end of its finishing touches and will be ready for release on November 9th of this year!!! The album is self-titled and features cover-art by none other than Hayden Strom of Antix. Banel and Rene have been working on these tracks for a while and from the sound of this weekends' DJ sets from Banel, this album is going to be yet ANOTHER phenomenal release from the planet's greatest label...

Tue, October 25, 2005 - 3:42 AMARRG!!! I gave it my all to get to Earthcore this year for Phony Orphants and Emok; but the cheapest plane tickets from the US available for those months are $1200 bucks!! Simply out of my league by a long-shot!! :-( I'm hoping next year... ...or when I win the lottery!! :-) :-) Have an awesome party!! Beat Bizarre's live-set is simply fantastic!!!!! - especially when they play "Caugama!" -

Iboga Records has the privilege to present the Behind Blue Eyes album.
The Duo consists of Rene, also writing as Beat Bizarre, and Michael Banel, Iboga label head and Dj inside 3 centuries.
They have written these fine tracks in a diverse & groovy progressive – trance style, with depth and a pinch of humour, focused on taking the listener on a magical journey.
Through the boys many years of experience and presence on the scene, they have a rich & exquisite sense of creativity, and are able to tell fantastic stories with their music.
Some of the tracks already gained attention from Regulars on the international Dj circuit as being innovative, deep & emotional at the same time. Behind Blue Eyes has something at heart and it is expressed Beautifully on the album.
Emok is also present with his splendid remix of “Brumbasse”. A 12” can be expected to follow along a Remix CD compilation in 2006, With remixes from the Behind Blue Eyes album as well as the Phony Orphants album “It Cetra

Re: Behind Blue Eyes
Tue, October 25, 2005 - 4:56 PMI can attest to all of this after hearing Banel DJ many tracks from the forthcoming album last month in Portugal. They're deep and driving but with a very warm edge to them. Rene and Banel bring their best attributes out through these tracks! YET ANOTHER great album coming from the crew in Copenhagen!!! -

Re: Behind Blue Eyes
Wed, November 9, 2005 - 6:04 PMman oh man this cd is sweet!
just got this baby and i sure am lovin' it...
Its a hot piece of minimal proggi, well thought-out leads and parts on a very airy groove, will do wonders in late hours of outdoor gatherings...
Fans of Beat bizzare will get what they want - although i have to say, to me this is an "improved" model, there is much more order in the tunes, and the ideas of the tracks are much easier understood.
Good Work!!!! -
